Reapers Drop Dragoons, 3-1

The Grim Reapers went home winners at The Coffin, thanks in large part to starter Juan Rodríguez. Rodríguez silenced the Louisiana Dragoons, enabling Grim to grab the 3-1 win. Louisiana, at 3-12, has had a dismal start to the season.
A key at-bat in the game came in the bottom of the third inning when the Reapers sent teenager Jesús Morales to the plate against Dragoons hurler Bart Hegland. With a runner on 1st and a whole stadium watching, the kid controlled his nerves and delivered huge, hitting a triple off a full count cutter to score 1.
"Being able to play a game for a living is one thing. Being able to play it well and contribute to a win is even better," Morales told the Grim Daily News.
