The Put-In-Bay BC eeked out a 3-2 win versus the Hammond Herons at Put-In-Bay Ballpark. Nobody did more than pitcher Rob Silva, who captured player of the game honors. Losses have been rare for the Herons, who are now 10-2.

The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Put-In-Bay trailing 2-1, Lloyd Kent hit a forkball from Aaron Houchens to right for a 2-run single. Just like that, the BC had a walk-off win.

"This wasn't a good win," said Kent. "It was a great win."
