Divided Win at Boston, 4-2
|
D.C. Divided starter Yoriyoshi Yamamoto pitched effectively against the Boston Patriots at Dunkin Donuts Park. The right-hander spearheaded his team's 4-2 win. Picking up the save was Greg Jordan, his 2nd. Their 61-47 record puts the Divided third in the Division I.
Early in the game, left fielder Wilfred McLaughlin had a 2-run home run for D.C.. It was his 29th home run of the season and put the Divided on top, 3-1.
"I thought we played a nice game," Yamamoto told the D.C. Herald. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
