Chukars Get Win, Extend Streak to 5
|
Scott Ramsey was instrumental in his team's 5-1 triumph over the Provo Mango. The first baseman was 2 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4 for the Idaho Falls Chukars. The Chukars have now won 5 straight.
When the Chukars needed a boost, it was the light-hitting Ramsey who delivered. Facing Provo pitcher Ellerd Peters the top of the sixth with runners on 2nd and 3rd, Ramsey hit his 3rd home run of the year. It made the score 5-1.
"The vibe's good," said Idaho Falls manager Dan Anderson. "We've got to keep it going."
