1787 BC Squelch Myrtle Beach Offense in Shutout Win
|
The Delaware 1787 BC got a stellar performance from pitcher Jian-gang Ow-Yang, who handcuffed the Myrtle Beach offense en route to a 3-0 win at Seahwaks Stadium. The first-place 1787 BC lifted their record to 42-18.
Francisco García didn't waste any time giving his team the lead. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a run-scoring triple to put Delaware on top, 1-0.
"We put some tough at-bats on some tough pitches," said Delaware manager Henry Russell.
