Bellevue right-hander Omar Casteneda pitched his team to victory over the Idaho Falls Chukars at Bellevue Field. The final score was 5-0. Casteneda got the win, improving to 3-5. He allowed 7 hits and walked 0 over 6.2 innings. Casteneda allowed no earned runs. The Bruins raised their record to 26-29.
In the bottom of the first, Mitchell Cusimano hit a 2-run double for Bellevue. The 11th double of the season for the Bellevue shortstop put the Bruins on top, 2-0.
