Seahawks Fall Short, 5-4, at Niagara Falls
Niagara Falls beat Myrtle Beach at Waterfall Park, eking out a 5-4 win. The win was due in large part to pitcher Santiago López, who earned player of the game honors. López went 8 innings to notch the win. He scattered 10 hits, walked 1, and struck out 5. His record improves to 3-2. At 20-22, Niagara Falls is in 7th place in the Menard's A.

Juan Carlos Santos was a key contributor to the win for the Expos. In the bottom of the fifth with two out, the light-hitting left fielder stroked a single to center. He went 1-4.

"I'm proud of the way we took care of business and got the 'W' today," López told the Niagara Falls Bulletin. "Whatever it takes."
