The Patriots took Panama City pitcher Eduardo Capata's best shot and still were able to claim a win at The Tank. The final score was 5-4. Capata went 6.1 innings and allowed 3 earned runs. The first-place Patriots have won 5 consecutive games.
The most important at-bat for Boston came in the top of the ninth inning, when designated hitter Terry Armstrong stroked a full count fastball to right for a 2-run double, putting Boston up, 5-4.
