The Boston Patriots knocked off the Panama City Piranhas, 8-4, at The Tank. Terry Armstrong, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Boston won. The first baseman was 4 for 4 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. The Boston Patriots have an impressive 65-38 record.
Ki-tak Im's hit in the top of the ninth was a game-changer. With one out, he rapped a fastball from Juan Pérez for a 2-run single. It put Boston in front, 6-4.
"Winning the game is always the first objective," Armstrong said.
