Despite a great performance by Bellevue first baseman Jesús Rodríguez, the Niagara Falls Expos defeated the Bruins by the score of 10-4 at Waterfall Park. Rodríguez went 4 for 4 with 2 doubles and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The loss drops Bellevue to 9-6.

Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic-born Augusto Encarnación came through in the clutch. In the bottom of the second, with the bases loaded and the Expos trailing 3-2, he hit a 2-run double to left-center to put Niagara Falls on top.
