Seahawks Fall Short at Idaho Falls
|
Idaho Falls Chukars starter Shotaro Sugahara turned in an exceptional performance against the Myrtle Beach Seahawks at Seahwaks Stadium, resulting in a Idaho Falls win, 3-2. Enrique Costa closed the door for Idaho Falls, picking up his 1st save of the year. The Chukars, with just their 4th win so far in 2025, have yet to catch fire.
Daryl Moran had the most critical at-bat for Idaho Falls, coming in the top of the 11th inning with two out and a runner on 2nd. Moran hit a 2-2 curveball from Bartolo Pérez for a run-scoring single. It put Idaho Falls in front, 3-2.
"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said Myrtle Beach manager Chris Brown. "The effort was great."
