Screaming Eagles Get One-Run Win at Tacoma
The Mercer Island Screaming Eagles topped the Tacoma Fur Traders, 6-4, with Marcos Reyes playing a big role. Reyes went 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Screaming Eagles in the win. Denis Melis, credited with the save, is now 15 for 18 in save opportunities. The Screaming Eagles improved to 64-35.

Reyes had a key at-bat for Mercer Island early in the game. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and gave Mercer Island an early 3-0 lead.

Reyes said afterward that his team has grown over the course of the season, adding: "It feels good when a plan comes together."
