Victory Over Lionhearts Takes Mercer Island to 60-33
Mercer Island beat Lannister United at Mercer Island Grounds, eking out a 4-1 win. The win was due in large part to pitcher Fernando Reyna, who earned player of the game honors. Mercer Island goes to 60-33. The win puts them 8½ games up in their division.

Leonardo Ramírez, who is tied for 5th in the PAA in home runs with 11, aided the Mercer Island cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the designated hitter went 3 for 4 with 3 singles.
