The Lannister United Lionhearts picked up a win at Lionheart Field, knocking off the Chesapeake Continentals, 9-1. Starting pitcher Enea Dini was an essential part of his team's success. Lannister United now sits in second place in the Premier AA at 50-39.

A key at-bat in the game came in the bottom of the fourth inning when the Lionhearts sent teenager Martín Alejadre to the plate against Continentals hurler Francisco Chávez. With a runner on 1st and a whole stadium watching, the kid controlled his nerves and delivered huge, hitting a home run off a 1-2 slider to score 2.

"We took it on the chin today," said losing manager José Flores.
