Retrievers Win at Buckhead, 7-6
|
The Northern Virginia Retrievers topped the Buckhead Bowties by the score of 7-6, with the largest share of the credit going to left fielder Francisco Ornelas. Ornelas was 2-4 with 2 singles and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for the Retrievers. Tommy Blevins, credited with the save, is now 1 for 1 in save opportunities. Northern Virginia is 37-63 and Buckhead, with the loss, 30-70.
