Chesapeake center fielder Rudko Hrnjak picked up 3 ribbies while helping his team beat back the Yakima Hops, 8-5. The winner was Pedro Silva, who threw 100 pitches over 7 innings. The right-hander was charged with 2 runs on 5 hits. The Hops, at 47-35, have lost 4 in a row.
