Lionhearts Get Win, Extend Streak to 4
|
Lannister United pinch hitter Jon Baxter made his presence felt in the 10-4 Lionhearts triumph over the Yakima Hops. Baxter was 1-1 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. The Lannister United winning streak has now reached 4 games.
Roberto Vázquez was a key contributor to the win for the Lionhearts. In the bottom of the seventh with no one out, the light-hitting center fielder stroked a single to center. He went 2-5 with 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
"We'll just keep our nose to the grindstone," Baxter told the Lannister United Citizen.
