Plasenia Delivers Walk-Off Win for Screaming Eagles
The Screaming Eagles grabbed a 4-3 win at Mercer Island Grounds, overcoming a fine effort from Yakima pitcher Mariano Martínez. Martínez went 7 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. With the win over Yakima, the Screaming Eagles improved to 46-26.

Nelson Plasenia was the walk-off hero for Mercer Island. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth, the Mercer Island third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"What an ending!" said a jubilant Plasenia.
