Frye never let Yakima get something going. The Mercer Island right-hander commanded his fastball in pitching the Screaming Eagles to a win. In 7 innings, Frye surrendered 5 hits, while striking out 7 and walking 1. He allowed 1 run. Earning his 12th save of the year was José Sánchez.
