Late Rally by Hops Secures Win
The Yakima Hops had to overcome a big game from Chesapeake first baseman Ludovic Michel to leave Chesapeake Grounds with a 4-3 victory. Michel was 3-4 with 2 home runs. Yakima reliever Cristo Perales got the win, raising his record to 4-1. Martin Swanson was tagged with the loss. The slumping Continentals have lost 8 straight.

Yakima grabbed control in the top of the eighth. With two out and a runner on 2nd, Chad Shafer delivered a run-scoring single, to make it 4-3 in favor of the Hops.

"I like our moxie," said Yakima Hops manager Jamie Randall.
