Thrilling Walk-Off Win for Screaming Eagles
The Mercer Island Screaming Eagles got a stellar performance from pitcher Tomiji Saikawa, who handcuffed the Casper offense en route to a 3-1 win at Mercer Island Grounds. Mercer Island leads the Premier AA by 3½ games.

Mercer Island won the game in the bottom of the ninth inning. That's when pinch hitter Jorge Peña hit a dramatic 2-run home run, bringing Screaming Eagles fans to their feet.

"Enjoyed this one," Peña told the Mercer Island News. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
