Lionhearts Saddle Screaming Eagles with 4-1 Loss
The Lannister United Lionhearts defeated the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles, 4-1, in USPL Double A action at Lionheart Field, with Lannister United pitcher Ryan Ingram named player of the game. Ingram got the win, improving to 5-1. He allowed 8 hits and walked 1 over 8 innings. Ingram allowed 1 earned run. Frank Castle was called on to finish, recording his 7th save.

António Boccanegra dealt the Screaming Eagles a blow in the bottom of the fifth. Batting with the bases empty and Lannister United leading 2-1, Boccanegra hit a 2-2 fastball for a solo home run.

"We'll enjoy this win," said Boccanegra. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."

The Lionhearts own a robust 32-28 mark.
