Swallows Knock Off Asheville at Swallows Ballpark
It was a fun time at Swallows Ballpark, where the Asheville Highlanders and Sun Prairie Swallows tangled.

Benefiting from the performance of Carlos Garza, the Sun Prairie Swallows defeated the Asheville Highlanders, 10-3. Garza was 3 for 4 with 3 singles and a walk. He scored 2 times for the Swallows. Xavier Padilla was the winner. Over 6.1 innings, he allowed 3 runs on 5 hits, with no walks and 7 strikeouts.

Sun Prairie took control in the bottom of the sixth. With two out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Dan Hart hit a 2-run single to make it 4-2, Swallows.

In comments to the Sun Prairie Gazette, Garza admitted he's been told to improve his work habits. "But," he said, "I know when to take it to another gear."
