Thundercats Clip Retrievers in Tight Contest

The Richardson City Thundercats picked up a win at The Thunder Dome, knocking off the Northern Virginia Retrievers, 4-3. Starting pitcher Alec Pittman was an essential part of his team's success. Richardson City has now won 6 in a row.
With runners on 1st and 2nd in the bottom of the ninth, Joey Jones delivered the knockout blow when he hit a run-scoring double to win it for Richardson City. In the contest, Jones went 3 for 4 with 2 doubles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.
"I'll be honest," said Pittman. "I didn't have much left in the tank."
