The D.C. Divided beat the Oakland Oaks, 12-1, at Oakland Coliseum. The win was largely due to the efforts of third baseman Ray Sears, who captured player of the game honors. Wilfred McLaughlin helped his team jump on top from the get-go. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a solo home run to give D.C. a 1-0 lead.
