Lionhearts Stick Continentals with 7-1 Loss
Riding the 3-hit performance of the 22-year old third baseman Jon Baxter, the Lannister United Lionhearts stymied the Chesapeake Continentals, 7-1. The 'W' lifts Lannister United's record to 25-24.

A key at-bat in the game came in the top of the sixth inning when the Lionhearts sent teenager Martín Alejadre to the plate against Continentals hurler Yeong-hwan Yang. With the bases loaded and a whole stadium watching, the kid controlled his nerves and delivered huge, hitting a single off a full count fastball to score 2.

"We had the game right there for the taking," said Chesapeake manager José Flores. "But we decided not to take it."
