It was a good time at Loony Bin, where fans came to watch the Chesapeake Continentals and Minnesota Loons get after it.
José León was instrumental in his team's 8-4 triumph over the Chesapeake Continentals. The first baseman was 2-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Minnesota Loons. The winner was Octávio Fernández, who threw 100 pitches over 5 innings. The left-hander was charged with 1 run on 3 hits.
