5 Straight Wins for Lionhearts
The Lannister United Lionhearts picked up a win at Lionheart Field, knocking off the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles, 7-4. Starting pitcher Carlos Díaz, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. The 4th-place Lionhearts have won 5 straight.

Also playing a key role was Gonzalo Álvarez. The Lannister United designated hitter hammered a 3-run home run in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, Álvarez was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once.
