The Lannister United Lionhearts grabbed a 8-4 win over the Asheville Highlanders at Lionheart Field. Lannister United first baseman Walter Frampton was 4 for 4 with a home run and 3 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once to earn player of the game honors. Edgar Lankford picked up the win, improving his season record to 3-3. He struck out 4 in 5.2 innings. The game turned with one out in the bottom of the fourth when Frampton hit a 3-run home run. It propelled the Lionhearts into the lead, 4-2.
