The D.C. Divided overcame a good performance by Northern Virginia center fielder Shohei Kiyomizu to knock off Northern Virginia, 8-5, at Ballpark of Northern Virginia. Kiyomizu went 3 for 4 with 2 doubles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Gabriel Hidalgo earned the save for D.C., his 28th of the year. D.C. now sits in third place in the Division I at 54-39.

Also having an impact was catcher Mario Castillo, who stroked a 2-run double in the top of the third for D.C.. For the game, Castillo went 2-4 with a double and a walk. He drove in 3 runs.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Castillo.
