Bradshaw Gets 5 Hits
It wasn't just another day at the ballpark for Sal Bradshaw today. Bradshaw went on a tear and cracked hit after hit off Chesapeake pitching. When the dust settled on the diamond at Ballpark of Tacoma, he had a 5-for-6 line and a day he will long remember. And the Tacoma Fur Traders had a 22-8 victory over the Continentals.

"Yeah, it'll be something nice to tell the grandkids, but it won't get me a hit tomorrow," he joked in the postgame interview.

Sal Bradshaw singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit a two-run single in the 5th and flied out in the 7th.

Bradshaw is presently batting .268 with no home runs, 7 runs scored and 5 RBIs. His OBP is .400.
