The Mercer Island Screaming Eagles did just enough to secure a 5-4 victory over the Sun Prairie Swallows at Mercer Island Grounds. Nobody did more than pitcher Fernando Reyna, who captured player of the game honors. The win moves Mercer Island to a record of 3-0.

León Domínguez was the walk-off hero for Mercer Island. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth, the Mercer Island third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.

"I felt good up there," said Domínguez. "I saw the ball well."
