Plymouth starter Manuel Delgado pitched effectively against the Sunset District Fog at Plymouth Quarry. The right-hander led his team to a 7-6 win. Earning his 4th save of the year was Roberto Aguirre. Plymouth goes to 24-74, Sunset District to 47-51.
Bill Becker was a key contributor to the win for the Rocks. In the bottom of the eighth with two out, the light-hitting third baseman stroked a single to left-center. He went 1-1.
"Wish we'd had more wins to celebrate like this one," said Becker.
