The Sunset District Fog and Bakersfield Nobles brought some excitement to Jerome Grounds.

Bakersfield first baseman Theo Fightmaster made his presence felt in the 5-4 Nobles triumph over the Sunset District Fog. Fightmaster went 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Bakersfield has a 3-game win streak, while Sunset District has lost 3 in a row.

Fightmaster came through with some timely hitting for Bakersfield. With the score 1-0 in the bottom of the second and one down, Fightmaster hit a 2-1 fastball for a 2-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season -- and a big reason the Nobles managed to win.

"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Fightmaster told the Bakersfield Daily News.
