The Royse City Targaryens defeated the Jersey City Sun Caps, 5-3, in USPL Triple A action at Jersey City Grounds. Terrence Eler received player of the game honors. The 9-year veteran was 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Picking up the save was Gabriel Rodríguez, his 1st. Royse City goes to 53-33, Jersey City to 51-35.
Royse City grabbed the momentum in the top of the fifth, when Eler hit a 2-run home run. His 1st home run put the Targaryens out in front, 5-3.
