Late Rally by Dogfish Head Seals 4th Straight Win

The Dogfish Head took Bakersfield pitcher Alberto Reyes's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Jerome Grounds. The final score was 4-3. Reyes went 7 innings and allowed 1 earned run. Milton reliever Luis De La Hoya picked up the win to move to 2-1. Jim Unknown suffered the loss. At 29-39, the Dogfish Head find themselves in 8th place in the Premier AAA.
The Dogfish Head took the lead in the top of the eighth when Jeff Bass banged a two-out single. Milton had been trailing 3-2, but Bass hit a 3-1 fastball from Jim Unknown for a 2-run single.
"We need to keep playing good baseball," Bass told the Milton Gazette.
