Patriots Lose to Oaks, 4-1
|
Oakland starter José Reyna pitched effectively against the Boston Patriots at Dunkin Donuts Park. The left-hander led his team to a 4-1 win. Oakland has now won 4 games in a row.
Mal Wadley, who is tied for 4th in the PL with a .472 slugging percentage, aided the Oakland cause with a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth. For the game, the right fielder was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once.
"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Boston manager Tyler Carter said following the tough loss.
