The Calgary Lynx overcame a good performance by Royse City right fielder José Vargas to knock off Royse City, 7-6, at Lynx Stadium. Vargas went 3-3 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks. The Lynx now have a record of 35-32 with the win over Royse City.

When he came to bat in the bottom of the ninth, Hieu De had a chance to end it. Royse City pitcher Roberto Aguirre had other ideas. But with two outs, De reached on an error by the 2B, driving in 1 run. The Lynx had the walk-off win.
