Milton starter John Alvarado pitched effectively against the Bakersfield Nobles at Jerome Grounds. The right-hander led his team to a 4-2 win. Earning his 1st save of the year was Jim Unknown. The Dogfish Head saw their record improve to 28-39.
Víctor Robledo was 1-3 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for Milton. In the top of the fifth, with the teams deadlocked, 1-1, Robledo delivered for the Dogfish Head. His run-scoring sacrifice fly put Milton on top, 2-1.
