António Rodríguez pitched well enough to win, but it was not to be. The Calgary Lynx, despite Rodríguez's fine outing, dropped a 2-1 decision to the Milton Dogfish Head at Milton Corner Tavern. Jim Unknown earned the save for Milton, his 1st. The 8th-place Dogfish Head raised their record to 27-39.
Also making an impact was third baseman David Sánchez, who drilled a run-scoring double in the bottom of the first for Milton. For the game, Sánchez went 1-3 with a double.
"We came out with the short end of the stick," said Calgary skipper Miguel Ocampo.
