Thundercats Deal Smoke Painful Loss
Richardson City Thundercats starter Cordell Wilson pitched a strong game against the Atlanta Smoke at The Thunder Dome, leading the Thundercats to a 3-2 win. The Thundercats raised their record to 52-36.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth. That's when Richardson City catcher Jonathan Cook, facing Iván García, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Thundercats the 3-2 win.

"I'm glad I could get it done when the game was in the balance," Wilson said in his postgame press conference.
