Lynx Lose to Dogfish Head in Walk Off

The Calgary Lynx got a superb performance from first baseman Thomas Campbell. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Milton. The Dogfish Head won the game, 6-5. In spite of the loss, Campbell was named the player of the game. He went 4-5 with 4 singles. He scored 3 runs. Milton reliever Jim Unknown was credited with the win, to go to 1-0. Jim Atkinson took the loss for Calgary. With the victory, the Dogfish Head record now stands at 26-39.
It could have been a different outcome for Milton, had it not been for Víctor Robledo, the 20-year old center fielder . Robledo contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the ninth inning to put Milton up, 6-5.
"It's great to get the crowd pumped up," Robledo said.
