A 4-RBI performance from José Vargas, who is tied for 2nd in the PAAA with a .536 slugging percentage, helped the Royse City Targaryens beat the Milton Dogfish Head, 10-2. The third-place Targaryens raised their record to 38-25.

Vargas came through with some timely hitting for Royse City. With the score 1-0 in the top of the third and no one down, Vargas hit a 0-2 sinker for a 3-run home run. It was his 7th home run of the season -- and a big reason the Targaryens managed to win.

"We'll keep our chins up and get ready for the next game," said losing manager Ron Mathews.
