Milton Dogfish Head starter Juan Reyes was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Jersey City Sun Caps, 2-1. The Dogfish Head improve their record to 24-35 with the win over Jersey City.
The most critical at-bat came in the top of the tenth inning. With two out, Fernando Silva hit a 1-2 fastball from Jim Unknown for a solo home run. It put Milton in front, 2-1.
"The old adage is true," said Reyes. "Good pitching stops good hitting."
