The Royse City Targaryens stymied the Pawnee ParksNRec, 6-2, at Whips Ballpark. Shang-de Zhang, who had a good day at the plate, was named player of the game. He was 2-4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice for Royse City. Wally Wilkerson got the win, improving to 4-0. He pitched 6.1 innings, giving up 9 hits and 2 runs, while striking out 3 and walking 2. Royse City is 34-22 and Pawnee, with the loss, 38-18.
Early in the game, Zhang had a 2-run home run for Royse City. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Targaryens on top, 3-1.
