Targaryens Come Up Short at Athletic Club KC
|
Athletic Club KC starter Tim Ritchie had a strong outing against the Royse City Targaryens at KC Reserve Stadium. The left-hander was a big part of his team's 4-3 win. The Reserves saw their record improve to 27-24.
Had it not been for Allen Williams, the results might have been different. In the bottom of the seventh inning, when the Reserves were trailing 3-2, Williams hit a 2-run home run for Athletic Club KC, giving his team the lead.
"We came out with the short end of the stick," said Royse City skipper John Williams.
