Getting an impressive start from Rodger de Meza, Royse City beat Sunset District by the score of 3-2. In 7.1 innings, de Meza surrendered 5 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 0. He allowed no runs. Roberto Aguirre earned the save, his 6th, for the Targaryens.
Miguel Uribe, who is rated as the 70th best prospect by BNN, aided the Royse City cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the left fielder drew 1 walk.
