Jersey City turned a good effort from starter Javier Desdin into a win over the Milton Dogfish Head at Jersey City Grounds. The final score was 5-2. Jim Unknown finished to wrap up his 1st save. The first-place Sun Caps now have a 4-game winning streak.

Also contributing to the win was right fielder Brandon Reed, who stroked a run-scoring single in the bottom of the first for Jersey City. For the game, Reed went 1-3.
