Thundercats Get One-Run Win at D.C.
The Richardson City Thundercats grabbed a 7-4 win over the D.C. Divided at Washington Stadium. Richardson City right fielder Joey Jones was 2-4 with a home run. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 to earn player of the game honors. Alec Pittman, who went 6.1 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 4 runs on 7 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 6. His record now stands at 9-6. Dave Reed, credited with the save, is now 21 for 24 in save opportunities.
