Franco Paces Fog to 6-0 Win
|
The Sunset District Fog defeated the Florida Men, 6-0, in USPL Triple A action at Fog Park, with Sunset District pitcher Jesús Franco named player of the game. The Fog now have a record of 21-14 with the win over Florida.
The Fog liked what they saw from Franco. The 20-year old pitcher had a commanding presence on the mound, limiting the Men to no earned runs on 5 hits over 8.1 innings, and striking out 4.
"It's easier to pitch when you get run support," said Franco.
